It's approaching! Our meetings that we had over the past couple of weeks have gone well. Everything seems to be sorted out with our Marriage Commisioner (Gisa) and Mayfair Lakes.
We also had our engagement photos yesterday. Here is Ian's and my favourite photo.
What we have left is mainly grooming things. I am re-dying my hair the same colour in the next few days just to make sure it's fresh. And, I'll be having my hair consultation on May 11. (I'm exctied to see what my hair will look like.) I still don't really have much of a clue of what I'm going to do with it, other than it being up.
Ian and I are going for a massage today and I also have a manicure booked for me and Heather, Ian's mom, on May 23. So like I said, it's mainly grooming stuff.
As for partays, I have my bridal shower on May 9 (this coming Friday) of which I'm told there are games planned. This semi-scares me as I don't know what they are. Ian's bachelor party will be on May 11 and he seems pretty stoked about paintballing.
I think that's about all that is new with us since the last post. Being close to the end, it's kind of nice that our list is so short and most things are pampering things that need to be done. (Well need or want, whichever.)
20 more days to go!

The Final Countdown!!!
It's the final countdown (Insert theme song here). 43 days and counting. The usual questions are being asked. Is everything done? Is everything done!!! Of course it is. I'm a perfectionist (Right Katie). Are you nevous? Am I nervous!!! Of course not. I'm marrying the most loving and caring girl in the world. Plus, I have nerves of steel!!! Although, I can't guarantee that will be the case when I see Katie walking down the isle.
Although everything is done, we still have some more meetings / consultations.
Tuxes: We (Myself, Troy, Jordie, Bryan and my dad) had our tux fitting last Sunday at Moores. Apparently we can't lose any weight between now and the wedding. That's okay with me...I wasn't planning on giving up beer and chicken wings. Ha! Ha! Ha!
Ceremony / Reception: We have a meeting with Jana (Wedding planner @ Mayfair Lakes) and Giza (Marriage Comissioner) on Sunaday, April 20 to go over the final details.
Photo's: We have a meeting with Ji Hong (Photographer) on Sunday, May 4 to do engagement photo's at Deer Lake Park / go over the final details.

Hair: Katie, the maid of honor, and the bridesmaids still have to do a hair consultation, but I have nothing to do with that. All I have to do is shave my head. Just kidding!!! Don't worry Sweetie, I will get a proper hair cut for the wedding.
Other than that, all we have to worry about is the bachelor / bachelorette parties. We're both very low key people, so we don't want to do what everyone else does. As for me, I suggested we do something different. PAINTBALL!!! Yes, paintball. I thought it would be fun. What happens after paintball is up to Troy, Jordie and Bryan, but I suggested a BBQ. But, we'll see what happens. I have learned not to trust those guys. I said BBQ, but they probably heard strippers. As for Katie, I don't know what her Maid of Honor and Bridesmaids have in store for her, but it's probably something she doesn't want to do (don't foget to take pictures :-) ). Good luck sweetie.

Tuxes
Guess who back...back again...
Yes, you guessed right. It's me. I'm back with "Moore" news. Katie and I went to Moores last Sunday to pick out the tuxes. We decided to go with a black (what other color would it be) single brested suit with a white vest and tie for me and a silver vest and tie for the best men. Hopefully we'll look good. But, not as good as the ladies. Especially the bride (I can't wait to see you in your wedding dress sweetie :-) ). We have to go back for a fitting, but other than that, we are done. One more thing to check off the list.

Flowers, Hairstyles and Stuff, Oh my!
This post is really only about Flowers and Hairstyles, but that's okay. I needed something to make it an "Oh, my" statement. Anyways, I'll start with hairstyles. So, I finally got a hairdresser who will come to the hotel and do mine and my bridesmaids hair. One of my friends from high school/elementary, Whitney, agreed to do them for me! Yay! It's so awesome because it's someone I know and trust to do my hair. I haven't talked to her in a few years, but thanks to Facebook we have been talking a bit more lately. My mom is relieved that the hair situation is sorted out. She was stressing about it way more than I was. Now all we need is someone to do make-up.
As for flowers, Ian and I have a meeting with Tapestry Florist on Tuesday to have a wedding consulation. I looked at their website and they have a lot of recommendations from past couples. So, that's part of why I chose to go there. We figure, and the place told us, that we really didn't have to be worrying about flowers yet. But, with me in school and what not, time is very precious. This is the best time that Ian and I could go.
I think that's about all that is new since the last time. So, until next time, I bid you adieu.

Invitations, cakes and flowers
Well, this is my first post. Why has it taken until now??? Because my lovely fiance is a better writter than me. Plus, I can't spell. Ha! Ha! Ha!
Anyway, on to the actual post. We have finished our invitations. We spent December 30th working on them. We actually had friends over on the 31st to help, but we finished them on the 30th. Unfortunately, Katie recieved some bad news on the 30th, so we decided to finish them to keep her mind off things. I must say...they're beautiful!!! Just like Katie. We'll post pictures of them once we have mailed them.
As well, we are in the process of looking at cakes and flowers. As for the cake, we have a friend at work who has offered to make it for us. We're just trying figure out what we want.
Here is a cake he made for someone else:
Until next time.

Gift Registry #2
Ian and I finished all our gift registry stuff! Yay, go us! We're going to have this wedding all done before you can say whosiwhatsit? That's right. So, the other actual registry we have is at......
DRUM ROLL PLEASE (Ian is making drumming or train sounds I'm not sure. Now, it's a video dance party.)
The Bay:
Go to - http://www.hbc.com/registry/find.aspx?gs=GIFTREGISTRY&site=bay&langid=EN
Type in either my name or Ian's name and voila!
We would also be cool with gift cards to Ikea as well. It's not really a registry, but a suggestion.
Peace out homie g's.

Another Update
Hello fellow people,
Let's see, what have Ian and I done since the last update. Well, there are two things that I can think of. We have completed our gift registry at Linens and Things, we still have to do one at The Bay and Ikea, but that's okay. The link for Linens and Things is:
http://canada.lnt.com/registry/index.jsp?clickid=topnav_giftr_txt
Just type in either my name, or Ian's and you can find our registry.
The other thing that we have done is we got our rings. I'm going to attempt attaching a picture here, so bare with me.
Here is mine:
And, here is Ian's:
That's all that we've done since our last update. So, until then, I bid you adieu.
